Description

The city used to sing. Get it singing again.

Jazz Paws is a one-thumb side-scrolling adventure set in a Southern California where the music has been switched off. Wind-up robots called Hush-Bots have gone block by block with little SHH signs, and a white cat named Zoe is walking the county to find eleven scattered bandmates and get one last set played at the Blue Moon Jazz Club.

It ships with 70 hand-drawn terrains built on real neighborhoods, 40 playable cats each carrying a skill nobody else has, 130 story levels across 13 chapters, 13 boss machines, and a 24-track lofi soundtrack. Every weapon in the game is a musical note.

Three ways in. Main Story walks the thirteen chapters and brings a bandmate home at the end of each one. Band Story gives every cat its own chapter set, its own corner of the city and its own reason for coming back. Play picks a route for you: five stops in about three minutes, seven in about four and a half, ten in about six, or endless until the hearts run out.

Key Features

Seventy terrains, one real county

Little Tokyo, Chinatown, Olvera Street, Koreatown, Angels Flight, the Observatory, Grand Central Market, the Harbor, the reef, Joshua Tree. The setting is a place people recognize, not a fantasy.

40 cats, 40 skills

Pick five and the first one leads. Every cat carries a skill nobody else has, and none of them is an invisible stat buff. If you cannot see it happen on screen, it is not in the game.

A 130-level comeback tour

Thirteen chapters, thirteen machines, eleven bandmates to find, and one last set at the Blue Moon Jazz Club.

Every shot is a musical note

Twenty-one flight paths, one signature per terrain: skipped across the harbor, lobbed over a balloon basket, played out an open chopper door, chopped out of a spinning propeller. Nothing here fires a bullet.

Ride everything

Convertibles, motorcycles, karts, monster trucks, sailboats, kayaks, balloons, gliders, parachutes, helicopters, airplanes, surfboards, skateboards, scuba gear. Every mount wears the band's colors, one seat per cat.

Thirteen machines want silence

Every chapter ends standing over the thing that took the music off that neighborhood, and the cat it was holding walks out with you.

Built to be played on mute

Every cue is on screen, so nothing in the game requires you to hear it. Which is exactly why the 24-track lofi soundtrack is worth turning up.

One purchase, no subscription

Ads are removed by a single non-consumable: Bebop, the winged kitten. He is not a receipt. He flies along with the band, fights, mends, and fetches loose notes off the pavement. That is the whole store.
